What Happens on Settlement Day?
  • Your solicitor confirms the buyer’s payment has cleared.
  • Keys are handed over (usually via agent or lawyer).
  • Final inspection by the buyer (if agreed).
  • Utility meter reads taken and services closed or transferred.
  • Home insurance updated or ended.
